Pairly Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pairly handles information when you use the app. Pairly is a calm, accessible, offline picture-matching game for adults of all ages, with particular attention to older adults.
1. Information collection
Pairly does not include a remote data-collection service and does not ask for a name, email address, account details, contacts, precise location, photographs, recordings, or other user-provided personal information. Damo Studio does not receive game settings or statistics from the app.
2. Firebase, analytics, and tracking
The audited version of Pairly does not contain Firebase SDKs or configuration. It does not send custom analytics events, set analytics user properties, automatically track screens, create analytics or installation identifiers, or send crash and performance reports.
3. Data stored on your device
Pairly uses local app storage to remember accessibility and play preferences and to display your statistics. This information remains under the app on your device.
- Sound, vibration, timer visibility, flip speed, text size, high contrast, and reduced-motion settings
- Last selected picture pack, difficulty, and game mode
- Games completed and pairs found
- Best move counts and best completion times by difficulty
- Picture-pack play counts
4. Active games
An unfinished active game is not saved for a later session. Current card positions, revealed cards, moves, and elapsed time exist only while that game is active.
5. Networking and data sharing
Pairly has no application-level networking or runtime data transmission and does not send personal information, settings, game selections, or statistics to Damo Studio or a third-party service. The audited app has no sharing or external-link feature.
6. Advertising, purchases, and accounts
Pairly contains no advertising SDK or AdMob integration, does not personalize ads, has no in-app purchases, and does not provide account creation or login.
7. Device permissions
The release configuration requests no privacy-sensitive device permission. Pairly does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or notifications.
8. Intended audience
Pairly is intended for adults of all ages, especially older adults. Its accessibility settings are stored locally and are not used to infer a user's age, health, or disability.
9. Retention and deletion
Local settings, selections, and statistics remain until app storage is cleared or Pairly is uninstalled. Operating-system backup features may separately retain a copy according to the device provider's settings and retention rules.
Because Pairly does not send analytics or diagnostic data to Damo Studio or Firebase, there is no corresponding remote Pairly dataset for the app to delete.
10. Security
Pairly reduces privacy risk by keeping its settings and statistics local and avoiding remote collection services. No storage method is completely secure; device access and operating-system backups are controlled by the user and platform provider.
11. Changes to this policy
Damo Studio may update this Privacy Policy if Pairly's features or data practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
